Creativity: With a Sleeping Baby and a Camera

Adele Enerson, while on maternity leave, came up with a unique outlet for her creative energy. Since then, Adele’s photos have been copied from her blog, misused and forwarded through e-mail. While in someways this is a compliment to her work, it is also frustrating as she would like to protect her personal photography of her child.

If you want a taste of what Adele has tolerated, read the FAQ page of her blog where she has been accused of such crazy things, like using a dead baby.

Adele was kind of enough to allow me to share her video with my readers. According to Adele’s blog, she describes herself, “as a copywriter & concept designer in advertising, but that’s not that relevant anymore. Right now I am a mother and a housewife, and loving it! This blog is my maternity leave hobby. While my baby is taking her nap, I create scenes around her and take quick snap photos. I take only a few minutes per picture, including creating idea, implementation and editing, ’cause I don’t want to disturb her sleeping and most of my time is for my family. My camera is small and inexpensive Canon IXUS 750.”

This is such an amazingly creative idea! That would be so fun to be able to hang pictures like this all over the house as a “gallery” of sorts. Great job! 🙂
